The Home Therapy Registered Nurse – Traveler for U.S. Renal Care travels to multiple locations to provide patient training and ongoing support for home dialysis.

This role offers nursing relief on a temporary or short-term basis and requires flexibility to cover assigned states with a focus on Home Hemodialysis patients. Join a dedicated team ensuring high-quality patient care while adhering to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in multiple states; licenses maintained in good standing.
• 12 months or more nursing experience; 6 months or more home modality experience required.
• Flexibility to travel to assignment locations throughout the U.S. and Guam.
• CPR certification required prior to patient care assignment.
• Must successfully complete Home Therapy Nurse Orientation and maintain competency.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of English; able to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Must have basic computer skills; proficiency in USRC clinical applications within 90 days.
• Meet state practice requirements and any background/orientation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient training and ongoing support for home dialysis modality.
• Travel to various USRC locations; provide nursing relief and support.
• Document nursing services in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and ensure continuity of care.
• May conduct home visits to assess patient home environment and care needs.
• Assist with infection control monitoring and readiness procedures.
• Coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to develop patient plans of care.
