Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Traveling General Superintendent - Justice to lead complex Justice/corrections projects across the United States. You will drive safety culture, coordinate subcontractors, and oversee field teams to meet project goals.

The role requires 12+ years in construction with strong Lean, scheduling, and budgeting skills, plus a track record of delivering large-scale facilities on time and within budget. Extensive travel is a core aspect of the position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 12+ years construction experience.
• 10+ years field supervision experience.
• Experience leading Lean principles on projects (Preferred).
• Demonstrated success in executing Justice/Corrections construction projects (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and creates injury-free environment through actions and mentoring others.
• Manages subcontractors and organizes overall job workflow.
• Oversees staff, subcontractors, suppliers and programs (Safety, Quality, EEO).
• Develops work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Coordinates project site care, custody and control and progress meetings.
• Creates and manages project schedule in coordination with the Project Manager.
