Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks a Traveling General Superintendent - Justice to lead complex justice/corrections projects across the United States. You will develop project plans, oversee teams, and ensure safety, quality and schedule adherence on multi-site assignments.

Role emphasizes independent decision-making, Lean practices, and collaboration with owners, architects and field leadership to deliver impactful facilities nationwide.

Qualifications

• 12+ years construction experience.
• 10+ years field supervision experience.
• Experience leading Lean principles on projects (Preferred).
• Demonstrated success in executing multiple large/complex Justice/Corrections projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and creates injury-free environment through actions and mentoring.
• Manages subcontractors and overall job workflow; coordinates teams.
• Oversees staff, subcontractors, suppliers and QA/QC for project scope.
• Develops work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Coordinates project site care, control and daily operations.
• Leads meetings including daily standups and weekly progress meetings.
• Manages project schedule changes with Project Manager and drives timely delivery.
