Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Traveling General Superintendent - Justice to oversee complex justice/corrections projects nationwide. You will lead the project plan, manage teams, and ensure safe, efficient execution across multiple sites.

The role emphasizes autonomy, strong communication, and capability to coordinate with owners, designers, subcontractors, and internal teams to meet project goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field (preferred).
• 12+ years of construction experience.
• 10+ years of field supervision experience.
• Experience leading Lean principles on large Justice/Corrections construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and ensure an injury-free environment.
• Manage subcontractors and overall job workflow.
• Develop work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Coordinate project meetings (daily standups, weekly trade, OAC).
• Oversee project schedule, budget, and cost reporting.
• Assist in staffing and personnel decisions for assigned projects.
