Job summary

IES is actively seeking a General Superintendent to oversee medium to large telecommunications/industrial projects. The role drives leadership for project teams, manages customer relations, controls costs, and ensures quality from planning through closeout.

Expect strong emphasis on safety, schedules, and compliance with company standards. The position requires five+ years of supervisory experience, knowledge of field systems, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years’ supervisory or managerial experience.
• Minimum three (3) years’ experience as a Lead Communications Technician or similar.
• Minimum five (5) years’ experience in telecommunications or related field.
• Proficient with computer and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and MS Project).
• Must meet company driving standards and manage project scope to completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead project execution from planning through completion.
• Direct workforce allocation, staffing, and workload distribution.
• Monitor installation progress and ensure on-time delivery.
• Oversee budgeting, invoicing, and financial documentation.
• Maintain quality standards and customer satisfaction.
• Attend customer and site meetings and drive safety culture.
