Job summary

IES, a national provider of industrial products and infrastructure services, seeks a General Superintendent to lead large projects, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and profitability. You will manage project staff, customer relations, budgeting, quality control, and continuous improvement across multiple sites.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive telecommunications/construction experience, and a proven ability to drive operational excellence while maintaining compliance with company

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years’ supervisory or managerial experience.
• Minimum three (3) years’ experience as Lead Communications Technician or similar.
• Minimum five (5) years’ experience in telecommunications or related technical/construction field.
• Proficient with a computer; skilled with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and MS Project).
• Must meet company driving standards.
• Must define a project, create scope, estimate, or tasks and manage to completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations and oversee all phases from planning through completion.
• Oversee staffing levels, workload, and project resources.
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule and meet customer expectations.
• Review job costs, invoicing, and financial documentation; ensure closeout docs are complete.
• Maintain high safety culture and customer satisfaction.
• Perform quality inspections and address technical issues.
