Job summary

Athletico Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Experience Coordinator to ensure accurate patient intake and financial clearance while delivering a seamless front-office experience across a network of clinics. This role reports to the Clinic Manager and collaborates with clinical teams, with support from the Patient Experience Specialist.

You will greet patients, verify insurance, collect payments, manage scheduling, monitor KPIs, and use EMR systems to support revenue cycle performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of customer service experience.
• Experience with MS Office, Outlook and Excel.
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance benefits preferred.
• Ability to meet performance metrics and work in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional front-office experience by greeting patients warmly and resolving issues promptly.
• Accurately complete patient intake and registration, including demographic verification and eligibility.
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities and digital tools to improve transparency.
• Collect time-of-service payments and meet collection targets.
• Manage clinic scheduling workflows to optimize provider availability and access.
