Job summary

Athletico Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Experience Coordinator to ensure accurate patient intake and financial clearance while delivering a seamless front-office experience. This role reports to the Clinic Manager and collaborates with clinical teams, supported by the PES.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Knowledge of healthcare insurance benefits and coverage preferred.
Experience with requesting and managing customer payments preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver an exceptional front-office experience by greeting patients warmly and resolving issues promptly.
Accurately complete patient intake/registration, including demographics, insurance eligibility, and authorization requirements.
Educate patients on financial responsibilities, payment options, and digital tools.
Collect time-of-service payments and meet collection targets.
Manage clinic scheduling workflows to optimize provider availability and patient access.
Monitor KPIs for registration accuracy and patient satisfaction.
Collaborate with PES, Billing, and Clinical Ops to resolve issues.
Utilize EMR systems and dashboards to track outcomes and support improvement initiatives.
Coordinate communication of progress notes to referral sources.
