Job summary

Veit & Company, Inc. seeks a Superintendent/Foreman (Foundations) to lead daily site activities for foundations projects, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery. You will manage lead personnel, coordinate with General Superintendents, and supervise crews across multiple tasks on site.

You will oversee safety trainings, prepare reports, and enforce Veit policies while driving project performance and client satisfaction in a union environment.

Qualifications

• Experience overseeing crews installing deep foundation systems (piles, caisson, helical piles).
• Experience with foundation/ground improvement equipment.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily site activities for foundations projects.
• Schedule subcontractors and monitor work per contracts.
• Maintain safety and enforce Veit policies and local laws.
• Provide timely documentation and reporting on safety issues and incidents.
