Job summary

Veit & Company, Inc. in Omaha, NE is seeking a seasoned Superintendent/Foreman for Foundations projects.

You will oversee daily site activities, manage lead personnel, ensure safety, quality, budget, and schedule, and report to the General Superintendent. This role requires strong leadership, hands-on supervision of piledriving and other deep foundation work, plus ability to read plans, coordinate subcontractors, and maintain thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising crews on deep foundation installations.
• Ability to read construction plans and specifications.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
• Union affiliation or willingness to join.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site activities to ensure safety, design, budget, and schedule.
• Schedule subcontractors and monitor work per agreements.
• Maintain safe working environment and enforce procedures.
• Lead staff and address performance issues as they arise.
• Prepare and participate in job site meetings and regular reporting.
