Job summary

Veit & Company, Inc. seeks a Superintendent/Foreman for foundations projects in Minot, ND to manage daily site activities, lead crews, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule.

You will coordinate with general superintendents, schedule subcontractors, and maintain logs while upholding Veit policies. This is a union-based role with travel in the upper Midwest; OSHA-30+HAZWOPER and field training are required.

Qualifications

• Five years overseeing a crew on deep foundation installations.
• Experience with piles, micropiles, caissons and helicals.
• Strong safety, quality, and schedule discipline.
• OSHA 30, HAZWOPER, Excavating Safety Training, Blueprint Training, CPR/First Aid.
• Ability to read plans and legal documents.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.
• Excellent communication and scheduling skills.
• Mathematical aptitude for field quantity calculations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site activities with safety and quality focus.
• Schedule and supervise crews and subcontractors to meet schedule.
• Maintain daily logs, equipment and material schedules.
• Ensure compliance with Veit policies and laws.
• Communicate with General Superintendents on needs.
• Lead pre-construction and site meetings.
• Report safety issues and incidents.
