Veit is seeking a Superintendent/Foreman for Foundations to lead daily site activities and ensure safety, quality, and schedule alignment on projects. You will manage lead personnel, coordinate with supervisors, and oversee subcontractors while maintaining Veit standards.

The role requires extensive experience with deep foundation systems and excellent communication skills, with travel to the upper Midwest region. Union affiliation or willingness to join is required.

Qualifikationen

• Five years of experience overseeing a crew for deep foundation installations.
• Experience with piledriving, micropiles, caisson, and helical piles.
• 5+ years foundation equipment experience (drills, concrete pumps, batch plants).
• OSHA 30-hour, HAZWOPER, Excavating Safety Training, Blueprint Training, CPR, First Aid.
• Ability to read and interpret policies, plans, and legal documents.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.
• Strong communication and scheduling abilities.
• Ability to work safely and manage multiple projects.
• Union awareness or willingness to join.

Aufgaben

• Oversee daily site activities for foundations projects.
• Coordinate workforce and equipment needs with General Supervisors.
• Schedule and monitor subcontractors to meet timelines.
• Maintain a safe working environment and enforce safety procedures.
• Prepare and participate in pre-construction meetings and site meetings.
• Document safety incidents and quality compliance.
• Communicate with customers and regulatory agencies as needed.
• Manage field personnel and address performance issues.
• Ensure compliance with Veit policies and local/federal laws.
• Travel up to 50% in upper Midwest region.
