Sartorius is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support installation, commissioning and calibration of Ambr systems in the St. Louis or Chicago area. You will manage preventative maintenance, repairs and updates, traveling up to 80% to customer sites.

The role requires an associate degree in engineering or equivalent, 2+ years in field service, and strong electrical/mechanical fault-finding. Valid license and ability to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or equivalent military or trade school certificates in electronics/electrical technology.
• 2+ years’ experience in commissioning/test or field service/support within high-tech engineering/manufacturing (capital equipment).
• Valid Driver's License and passport or the ability to obtain one.
• Experience with electrical, mechanical & I/O fault-finding at system and component level.

Responsabilités

• Perform installation, commissioning, calibration and preventive maintenance across a range of systems.
• Maintain fault finding data and feedback product performance to customers and internal groups.
• Travel up to approximately 80% within assigned territory.
