Job summary

Sartorius seeks a dynamic Field Service Engineer to support Ambr systems remotely in the St Louis or Chicago area. You will install, calibrate, and maintain equipment, manage fault data, and travel extensively to serve customers across the territory. Prior field service on capital equipment is preferred.

Knowledge of automation/robotics, electrical/mechanical drawings, and MS Office will help you succeed. A valid license and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in commissioning/test or field service environments within high-tech engineering/manufacturing, ideally on capital equipment.
• Valid Driver's License and passport or ability to obtain one.
• Experience with automation and/or robotics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, commissioning, calibration, preventative maintenance and break-fix repairs across a range of systems.
• Maintain fault finding data and feedback product performance to customers and internal teams.
• Travel up to ~80% (primarily within assigned territory).
• Perform in-house service activities in the Delaware office as needed.
• Follow service procedures to keep customer information and software/configuration up to date.
