Bon Appetit is seeking an Executive Chef, Traveling Support, to provide hands-on culinary leadership across a portfolio of accounts. Reporting to the Regional Vice President, this role supports locations during leadership transitions, openings, and operations challenges.

The Traveling Support Executive Chef will assess operations, elevate food quality, mentor teams, ensure food safety, and travel extensively to deliver consistent standards and guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience leading culinary operations in high-volume environments.
• ExecutiveChef or equivalent leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen operations management.
• Experience supporting multi-unit or transition scenarios.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 85% and manage costs.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive chef leadership across multiple accounts during transitions and openings.
• Assess operations and implement solutions to improve quality, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, and recipe execution.
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, HACCP, allergen management, and regulatory compliance.
• Support new account openings, including menu implementation and training.
• Mentor chefs, managers, and culinary teams through coaching and hands-on leadership.
• Contribute to culinary innovation, SOPs, and training resources across the portfolio.
• Build relationships with clients, operations leaders, and culinary teams.
• Travel extensively to support locations across the region and portfolio.
