Bon Appetit is seeking an Executive Chef, Traveling Support to lead culinary operations across multiple accounts. This hands-on leader reports to the Regional VP and will stabilize operations, elevate menu execution, and mentor teams during transitions and openings.

The role requires extensive travel (approx. 85%), strong food safety knowledge, and experience in contract dining or hospitality environments. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience leading culinary operations in high-volume foodservice or contract dining.
• Proven track record as an Executive Chef or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, HACCP, and kitchen operations management.
• Experience supporting multi-unit or transitional leadership scenarios.
• Ability to travel extensively (about 85%).
• Residence within reasonable distance of a major airport.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive chef leadership across multiple accounts during transitions and openings.
• Improve food quality, consistency, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain high standards for recipe execution, presentation, and dining experiences.
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, allergen management, and regulatory compliance.
• Support new account openings including menu implementation and training.
• Mentor chefs and culinary teams through coaching and hands-on leadership.
• Drive culinary innovation and standard operating procedures across portfolios.
• Build strong client and operations relationships to foster collaboration.
