Job summary

Bon Appetit Management Company seeks an Executive Chef for Traveling Support to lead culinary operations across a portfolio of accounts. The role reports to the Regional VP and requires hands-on leadership during transitions, openings, and growth initiatives.

The Traveling Support Executive Chef will quickly assess operations, build trust with teams, elevate food quality, and help create stability in diverse environments while traveling extensively and maintaining high culinary standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading culinary operations in high-volume environments.
• Executive-level culinary leadership across multi-account portfolios.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and HACCP principles.
• Experience supporting operational improvement and leadership transitions.
• Able to travel extensively and manage across diverse sites.
• Proven track record developing teams and culinary standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive chef leadership across multiple accounts during transitions and openings.
• Assess kitchen operations and implement solutions to improve quality, consistency, and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, and recipe execution.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and allergen management.
• Support new account openings, training, and operational setup.
• Mentor and develop chefs and culinary teams through coaching and hands-on leadership.
• Contribute to culinary standards, recipes, and training resources across the portfolio.
