Job summary

Bon Appetit is seeking an Executive Chef, Traveling Support to lead culinary operations across a portfolio of accounts. This hands-on leadership role reports to the Regional VP and is deployed where leadership transitions or openings occur.

You will travel extensively (approximately 85%), elevate food quality, train teams, and ensure compliance with safety standards while delivering exceptional guest experiences. The role offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Experience leading culinary operations in high-volume foodservice or contract dining.
Proven track record as an Executive Chef or equivalent leader.
Strong knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and kitchen operations.
Ability to travel extensively and manage multi-site operations.
Experience supporting new account openings or renovations.

Responsibilities

Provide executive chef leadership across multiple accounts during transitions and openings.
Assess kitchen operations and implement improvements in quality and efficiency.
Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, and dining experiences.
Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements.
Support new account openings, including kitchen readiness and training.
Travel regionally to support locations and portfolio priorities.
