Bon Appétit Management Company is seeking an Executive Chef, Traveling Support, to provide hands-on culinary leadership across a portfolio of accounts. You will report to the Regional VP and be deployed to locations undergoing leadership transitions, openings, or operational challenges, elevating food quality and guest experience.

The role requires extensive travel (approximately 85%), strong culinary leadership, and a proven record in high-volume contract dining.

Qualifications

• Experience leading culinary operations in high-volume contract dining environments.
• Proven track record as an Executive Chef or senior culinary leader.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, HACCP principles, and kitchen operations management.
• Experience supporting leadership transitions, or multi-unit openings.
• Ability to travel extensively and manage operations remotely if needed.
• Ability to mentor and develop culinary teams across accounts.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive chef leadership across multiple accounts during transitions and openings.
• Improve food quality, consistency, and guest satisfaction across portfolios.
• Maintain high standards for food presentation, recipe execution, and dining experiences.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and allergen management requirements.
• Support new account openings, kitchen readiness, menu implementation, and training.
• Partner with culinary and operations leaders to drive continuous improvement.
• Assist with food cost management, inventory controls, and waste reduction.
• Mentor chefs and culinary staff through coaching and hands-on leadership.
• Contribute to culinary standards, recipes, and SOPs across the portfolio.
• Build strong client relationships and foster a collaborative culture.
