Job summary

Bon Appetit is seeking an Executive Chef, Traveling Support to provide executive-level culinary leadership across a portfolio of accounts. This hands-on role involves assessing operations, elevating food quality, and mentoring culinary teams while traveling to locations as needed.

The position emphasizes cross-account support during transitions, openings, and growth, with a focus on safety, standards, and exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience leading culinary operations in high-volume foodservice.
• Executive Chef-level leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and HACCP principles.
• Willingness to travel extensively (approx. 85%).
• Experience in contract dining, hospitality, or corporate dining environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive chef leadership and operational support across multiple accounts during transitions, openings, or growth.
• Assess kitchen operations and implement solutions to improve quality, consistency, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, and recipe execution across portfolios.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, HACCP, allergen management, and regulatory requirements.
• Support new account openings, including kitchen readiness, menu implementation, and training.
• Mentor and develop chefs and culinary teams through coaching and hands-on leadership.
• Build strong client and operations relationships and promote collaboration across teams.
• Travel extensively to support locations across the region as business needs require.
