Job summary

Loenbro is seeking a General Superintendent (Traveling) to lead large-scale construction initiatives across multiple sites, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery. You will mentor field teams, manage budgets and schedules, and coordinate with clients, engineers, and subcontractors.

The role requires a bachelor’s in construction management or related field, 5+ years of superintendent experience on multi-million-dollar projects, and proficiency with project controls and CM software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and progressive leadership experience).
• Minimum 5+ years of Superintendent experience managing ground-up commercial, industrial, or civil construction projects valued at $50M+.
• Strong knowledge of building, electrical, life-safety codes and regulatory requirements.
• Understanding of contracts, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning.
• Ability to review drawings, specs, submittals, RFIs, and other docs for project execution.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for large-scale construction projects, mentoring field leadership teams across multiple locations.
• Manage project execution per contract terms, scope, and owner expectations.
• Serve as technical authority on drawings, specs, submittals, RFIs, and constructability concerns.
• Lead planning and controls, budgeting, forecasting, and weekly look-ahead scheduling.
• Champion safety, quality, and operational excellence per company policies.
• Collaborate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and trades to resolve complex challenges.
• Demonstrate leadership and problem-solving to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
