Job summary

Loenbro is seeking a General Superintendent (Traveling) to oversee large-scale construction projects across multiple locations, including Columbia, SC. You will mentor field leaders, ensure budget and schedule adherence, and uphold safety and quality standards.

Travel up to 10% supports diverse projects in industrial, commercial, and civil sectors. A strong background in CM/engineering and 5+ years of superintendent experience are required. Loenbro Southeast values integrity and excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and progressive construction leadership experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of Superintendent experience on ground-up projects valued at $50M+.
• Proven track record delivering complex projects (data centers, healthcare, infra, high-rise, etc.).
• Thorough knowledge of building, electrical, life-safety codes and regulatory requirements.
• Strong understanding of contracts, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, cost control and resource planning.
• Ability to review and interpret drawings, specs, submittals, RFIs and contract documents.
• Exceptional leadership, communication and problem-solving for multiple projects and teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for large-scale projects and mentor field leadership across locations.
• Manage project execution per contract terms, scope and owner expectations.
• Serve as technical authority on drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs and constructability.
• Lead planning and controls: budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, procurement, weekly look-ahead.
• Champion safety, quality, and compliance through inspections and policies.
• Collaborate with clients, project managers, engineers, subcontractors to resolve challenges.
• Demonstrate leadership to manage multiple projects and field teams.
