Job summary

Loenbro is seeking a General Superintendent to oversee large-scale construction projects, lead field leadership teams, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure safety and quality objectives are met. The role reports to the VP of Field Operations and requires coordinating with executives, project teams, and field operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of Superintendent experience on ground-up commercial, industrial, or civil projects valued at $50M+.
• Proven track record delivering complex construction projects (data centers, healthcare, transport, industrial, high-rise).
• Thorough knowledge of building, electrical, life-safety codes and regulatory requirements.
• Strong understanding of contracts, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for large-scale construction projects; mentor field leadership teams.
• Manage project execution per contract terms, scope, and requirements; ensure adherence to specs and owner expectations.
• Serve as technical authority on contract documents, drawings, specs, and submittals; ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Lead project planning and controls: budgeting, forecasting, manpower planning, procurement, schedule management, weekly look-ahead.
• Champion safety, quality, and operational excellence; enforce EH&S policies and inspections.
• Collaborate with clients, PMs, engineers, subcontractors to resolve complex challenges and drive outcomes.
• Demonstrate leadership and problem-solving to manage multiple large projects simultaneously.
