Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced Environmental Health & Safety professional to lead EH&S on a single construction project within the Global Critical Facilities team. This fulltime traveling role supports data center and EV projects nationwide, enforcing policies and training personnel in safe work practices.

You will manage safety programs, coordinate with project leadership, and drive corrective actions to reduce exposures and incidents on-site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 4+ years of construction safety experience
• CHST certification required or within 2 years of appointment
• OSHA 30-hour training and current First Aid/CPR/BBP/AED certifications
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local EH&S regulations
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Willingness to travel as required

Responsibilities

• Lead EH&S on a single construction project per HQ policy
• Provide safety leadership and allocate time/resources
• Assess safety practices and implement corrective actions
• Communicate safety requirements to project leadership
• Develop site-specific safety training for teams
• Promote safe work practices and regulatory compliance
• Maintain relationships with project staff and subcontractor safety reps
• Inspect, audit, and report safety performance and violations
• Coordinate with project leadership to improve safety metrics
• Support preconstruction safety planning and risk mitigation
