Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks an experienced Environmental Health & Safety professional for a full-time traveling role across the United States. Lead EH&S on data center and EV projects, enforcing safety policies and coordinating with HQ EH&S and project teams.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor’s in Safety/Engineering, CHST certification, OSHA 30, and strong leadership and communication skills. Global safety program experience preferred for dynamic, nationwide assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, or related field.
• CHST certification required or within 2 years of appointment.
• Completed OSHA 30-hour training and CPR/First Aid/AED certifications.
• Knowledgeable of federal, state, and local EH&S regulations.
• Ability to identify known and potential safety related exposures and lead corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct, and enforce EH&S on a single construction project per HQ policy.
• Manage time and resource allocation and provide safety leadership to project.
• Assess safety practices and exposures, develop action plans to mitigate risks.
• Communicate requirements for safety improvements to project leadership and teams.
• Develop and deliver site-specific safety training for personnel and subcontractors.
• Review subcontractor safety programs for compliance and participate in preconstruction planning.
