Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) professional for a full-time traveling assignment on an Advanced Technology project, including Data Center, Pharmaceutical, Industrial/Manufacturing, and EV/Battery/Renewables segments.

You will enforce site safety programs, train teams, and lead incident-reduction efforts on a single construction project within the BU geographic area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, or related field; minimum 4 years construction safety experience.
• CHST certification required or within 2 years of appointment.
• OSHA 30-hour training; maintain First Aid/CPR/BBP and AED certifications.
• Knowledge of Federal, State, and local EH&S regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead EH&S on a single construction project per HQ policy.
• Provide safety leadership and allocate time/resources for the project.
• Assess safety practices, mitigate risks, and drive awareness.
• Train project teams on EH&S programs and safe work practices.
• Develop and enforce project Safety Program and related policies.
• Identify unsafe actions and implement corrective actions.
