Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Health & Safety leader for a fulltime traveling assignment across the United States. You will support our Data Center and EV projects, enforcing EH&S programs and coordinating with project teams to ensure compliance and safe practices.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Safety/Engineering, CHST certification within 2 years, OSHA 30 hours, and 4+ years of safety experience on construction sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited program in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, or a related field, and minimum of 4 years of related construction safety experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Construction Health Safety Technician (CHST) certification required or within 2 years of appointment.
• Completed OSHA 30‑hour training and maintain current First Aid/CPR/BBP and AED certifications.
• Knowledgeable of federal, state, and local environmental health & safety regulations.
• Working knowledge and consistent application of safety and environmental principles and techniques.
• Travel required, access to reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct, and enforce EH&S on a single construction project per HQ policy.
• Manage time and resources and provide safety leadership to the project.
• Assess safety practices, identify exposures, and implement risk-mitigation plans.
• Communicate requirements for improving performance to project leadership and teams.
• Develop site-specific safety training for management, employees, subcontractors, and Turner Trades.
