Layton Construction is seeking a traveling Superintendent to manage daily job-site operations across the country. You will coordinate scheduling, production, procurement of materials, manpower and equipment, while supervising direct labor and subcontractors to meet project goals.

The role demands extensive field leadership, blueprint literacy, and a proven ability to plan and adapt to changing site conditions. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large-scale commercial construction projects.
• Ability to read blueprints and develop project schedules.
• Willingness to travel nationwide.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan procedures and staffing for each phase of construction.
• Develop look-ahead schedules with Project Manager.
• Coordinate pre-construction mobilization and subcontractor reviews.
• Procure tools and materials to meet schedules.
• Monitor progress and adjust labor and schedules.
• Ensure safety, quality, and company policies on site.
