Layton Construction seeks a traveling Superintendent to lead day-to-day site operations on large commercial projects nationwide. You will plan staffing, oversee procurement of materials, manage subcontractors, and coordinate with project leadership to meet schedule and budget goals.

The role requires strong knowledge of construction processes, reading blueprints, and effective communication with clients and crews. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience in construction management.
• 5+ years on large-scale, ground-up commercial projects with travel.
• Knowledge of construction processes and building codes; reads blueprints.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily job-site operations including scheduling, production, and procurement.
• Coordinate with Project Manager to develop and use look-ahead schedules.
• Direct procurement of tools, materials, and subcontracted work as required.
• Ensure safety, quality, and adherence to project timelines and budgets.
