Dennis Group is seeking a Construction Manager to lead site supervision of medium-sized industrial projects across food & beverage facilities. You will coordinate subcontractors, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure safety and quality on site.

You will interact with owners, A/E teams, and clients, providing regular project updates, coordinating across field and office teams, and driving project close-out with strong planning and communication skills.

Formación

• A Bachelors degree in construction science, building science, construction engineering or a related field is strongly preferred.
• Design-build experience on industrial projects is strongly preferred.
• Overseeing sub-contractors and driving the project schedule.
• Client interaction experience with strong technical, organizational, managerial, and communication skills.
• Progressively responsible job site experience on industrial building projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents, schedules, and budgets.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD is a plus.
• Travel up to 100% to projects across the USA and possible Canada.
• Work 10 days onsite, 4 days off.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee medium-sized projects and supervise subcontractors.
• Develop and update project scope, budget, and schedule.
• Project accounting, budgeting, and cost management.
• Establish and maintain site safety procedures with the safety team.
• Oversee process, mechanical and utility equipment installations.
• Permitting, code and regulatory administration and approval.
• Change orders and general construction administration.
• Coordinate field engineering and inspection activities.
• Manage third-party testing, inspection, and relationships.
• Research construction management best practices.
• Client-facing role collaborating with owners, subs, building officials, and A/E team.
• Prepare and administer third-party agreements.
• Site walk/audits to ensure progress and subcontractor compliance with plans.
• Procure project services and equipment, including rentals and PPE.
• Support facility start-up and project close-out activities.
• Review submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
• Coordinate with Project Controllers and Project Manager on invoices and client billing.
• Perform engineering calculations and interpret drawings/specifications.
• Assist in work plan development and package preparation.
