Job summary

Dennis Group seeks a Construction Manager to supervise daily construction activities for industrial food and beverage facilities. You will coordinate subcontractors, enforce safety programs, manage budgets and schedules, and collaborate with multiple engineering teams to drive project success.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's degree in a related field, strong communication skills, and experience with design-build projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in construction science, building science, construction engineering or related field.
• Design-build experience on industrial projects is strongly preferred.
• Experience overseeing subcontractors and driving project schedule.
• Strong client interaction—technical, organizational, managerial and communication skills.
• Progressively responsible job-site experience on industrial building projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents, schedules, and budgets.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD is a plus.
• Travel up to 100% to projects across the USA and possibly Canada.
• Work 10 days onsite, 4 days off.

Responsibilities

• Oversee medium-sized construction projects and coordinate site activities.
• Develop and update project scope, budget, and schedule with project management.
• Manage project accounting, budgeting, and cost management.
• Establish site safety procedures with the safety team.
• Coordinate field engineering, installations, and punch-list inspections.
• Prepare and maintain project reports and logs and handle submittals and RFIs.
• Coordinate with owners, subs, building officials, and the A/E team.
