Job summary

Dennis Group is seeking a Construction Manager to supervise site operations, coordinate subcontractors, manage safety programs, and oversee project schedules and budgets for food and beverage process facilities. This role requires strong communication with owners, subs, building officials, and the A/E team.

Responsibilities include contract administration, planning, reporting, and advisory support on project management issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction science, building science, construction engineering or related field.
• Design-build experience on industrial projects (strongly preferred).
• Overseeing sub-contractors and driving the project schedule.
• Client interaction experience with strong technical, organizational, managerial, and communication skills.
• Progressively responsible job site experience on industrial building projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents, schedules, and budgets.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD is a plus.
• Travel up to 100% to projects across USA and Canada.
• Work 10 days onsite, 4 days off.

Responsibilities

• Daily supervision of construction activities, coordinating subcontractors and site safety programs.
• Overseeing field engineers or Jr Construction Managers when directed.
• Manage project scope, budget, and schedule with project management.
• Maintain site safety procedures with the safety team.
• Oversee installation of process, mechanical and utility equipment.
• Handle permitting, code and regulatory administration and approvals.
• Coordinate submittals, RFIs, change orders and project accounting.
• Coordinate field engineering and inspections with third-party testing/inspections.
• Prepare and maintain project reports and logs and mentor juniors.
