Job summary

Hawthorne Health is expanding its Home Network and seeks dual-credentialed Cardiac and Vascular Sonographers to join as per diem contractors. You will travel to patient homes across regions to perform in-home echocardiograms and vascular imaging per protocol, ensuring quality data for sponsor review.

This role is 1099 independent contractor, per-visit pay, with travel reimbursements for mileage, airfare, and hotel.

Qualifications

• Active registration in cardiac and vascular imaging (RDCS/RVT/RCS or equivalent)
• 3+ years of recent sonography experience in cardiac and vascular imaging
• BLS certification and valid driver’s license required
• Ability to travel regionally and work independently in homes
• Comfort working in non-traditional settings with portable ultrasound equipment

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes for imaging visits
• Set up portable ultrasound equipment
• Explain procedures and obtain cooperation
• Perform echocardiograms and vascular imaging per protocol
• Label images for cardiology review and complete preliminary reports
• Maintain ASE-standard image quality and safety guidelines
• Troubleshoot imaging equipment as needed
