Hawthorne Health is expanding its Home Network and seeking dual-credentialed Cardiac and Vascular Sonographers to work per diem on an in-home imaging study. You will travel regionally to patient homes, set up portable ultrasound equipment, and perform echocardiograms and vascular imaging per protocol.

Responsibilities include obtaining informed cooperation, labeling images for review, and providing preliminary reports. Travel expenses are reimbursed per visit.

Qualifications

• Active registration in cardiac and vascular imaging (RDCS/RCS + RVT/RVS through ARDMS/CCI).
• BLS certification.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; willingness to travel regionally.
• Access to a personal computer and reliable internet; tech-savvy with digital tools.
• Ability to work independently in non-traditional settings.
• Excellent patient communication and bedside manner.
• Adaptability in dynamic, field-based environments.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Travel locally or across state lines to patient homes for in-home imaging visits.
• Transport and set up portable ultrasound equipment.
• Explain procedures and obtain informed cooperation from participants.
• Perform echocardiograms and vascular imaging per protocol.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety during imaging.
• Follow sponsor and protocol-specific imaging guidelines.
• Ensure accurate image acquisition and proper labeling for cardiology review.
• Complete preliminary report with measurements and sonographer comments.
• Maintain high-quality standards consistent with ASE Standards.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of imaging equipment.
