Job summary

Hawthorne Health, Inc. is expanding its Home Network and seeks dual‑credentialed Cardiac and Vascular Sonographers for a per diem, independent contractor role.

You will travel regionally to patient homes to conduct in‑home cardiac and vascular imaging visits, with travel expenses reimbursed per visit. Responsibilities include transporting and setting up portable ultrasound equipment, obtaining informed cooperation, and producing preliminary reports per protocol in a field-based environment.

Qualifications

• Active registration in cardiac and vascular imaging (RDCS/RCS + RVT/RVS).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; willingness to travel locally/regionally.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes regionally to perform echocardiograms and vascular imaging.
• Set up portable ultrasound equipment and ensure image quality.
• Explain procedures and obtain informed cooperation from participants.
• Prepare preliminary report with measurements and sonographer comments.
• Follow ASE standards and sponsor imaging guidelines.
• Troubleshoot imaging equipment as needed.
