Job summary

Hawthorne Health is expanding its Home Network and seeks dual-credentialed Cardiac and Vascular Sonographers for per diem, independent contractor work. You will travel regionally to patient homes to perform in-home cardiac and vascular imaging visits, with travel expenses reimbursed per visit.

Responsibilities include operating portable ultrasound equipment, explaining procedures, obtaining consent, and preparing preliminary reports.

Qualifications

• Active registration in both cardiac and vascular imaging per requirements (e.g., RDCS/RCS with RVT/RVS).
• BLS certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; willingness to travel regionally.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes regionally to conduct in-home cardiac and vascular imaging visits.
• Transport and set up portable ultrasound equipment at each site.
• Explain procedures and obtain informed cooperation from participants.
• Perform echocardiograms and vascular imaging per protocol.
• Maintain imaging quality and proper labeling for review.
