Responsibilities

• 13-week contract in a hospital Surgery Room with 14 ORs.
• Level IV Trauma Center environment with NICU and stroke center.
• 228-bed facility handling 20-23 cases per day.
• Top case types include ortho, GYN, general surgery; plus bariatrics, plastics, and urology.
• No neuro, complicated spine, or baby deliveries.
• 10-hour day shifts, Mon-Fri 0630-1500, based on schedule.
• On-call rotation for weekends and weeknights, ~7–8 days every 2 months.
• 1 holiday coverage per contract.
• Uses EPIC EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis, and iStat.
• Support surgical cases across general, bariatric, ortho, plastics, urology, and GYN.
• Work with Charge RN, OR Educator, surgeons, and anesthesia team.
• 3–5 days of orientation including unit orientation with a preceptor.
• Scrubs are provided.
• Free parking available.
• RTO approval up to 7 days.
• Local candidates accepted at same rate; no radius rules.
• Former Advocate Health employees must be separated at least 12 months to be eligible for travel assignments.

• No neuro, complicated spine, or baby delivery cases
• 10-hour day shifts, Monday-Friday 0630-1500, based on surgical schedule
• On-call rotation required for weekends (0630-0630) and weeknights based on unit needs, averaging 7-8 days every 2 months
• 1 holiday coverage expected per contract
• Uses EPIC EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis medication dispensing, and iStat (Hemochron)
• Support surgical cases including general, bariatric, ortho, plastics, urology, and GYN procedures
• Work alongside Charge RN, Leads, OR Educator, surgeons, and anesthesia team
