Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist with OR scrub experience for an acute care operating room in Frisco, CO. This travel/loc role offers evening shifts with on-call requirements and no floating.

You will support OR cases across ortho, general, gyn, trauma and robotics, operate with EPIC charting, and receive first-week orientation plus on-site scrubs provided; housing and licensure reimbursements available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an acute care OR environment.
• OR scrub experience is required and CST credential is mandatory.
• BLS certification through AHA is required.
• DORA CO certification is required for eligibility.
• Active state or compact nursing license if applicable.
• Driver's license copy is required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Acute care OR with 3 suites performing 8-10 cases daily across ortho, general, gyn, trauma, robotics.
• Evening shift 1:00 PM–9:30 PM, with additional 6:30 AM–7:00 PM shifts Mon–Wed and Mon–Fri as scheduled.
• Use EPIC charting system; on-call includes weeknights, weekends, and 1 holiday with 30-minute response.
• No floating; charge nurse and house supervisor present; orientation included in first week.
• Scrubs provided on site; travel housing and licensure reimbursements may apply.

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist with OR scrub experience for an acute care operating room position on evening shifts with call requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• OR scrub experience required
• BLS certification (AHA)
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential via NBSTSA
• DORA CO certification required
• Active state or compact nursing license required if applicable
• Driver's license copy required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Acute care operating room unit with 3 suites averaging 8-10 cases per day
• Common cases include ortho, general, gyn, trauma, total joints, ENT, podiatry, urology, and robotics
• Evening shift 1p-9:30p Monday-Friday with additional scheduled shifts 6:30a-7p Monday-Wednesday
• Uses EPIC charting system
• On-call required, including 5-6 weeknight calls and 36 weekend call hours in a 6-week period, plus 1 holiday
• Call response time of 30 minutes
• No floating required
• Charge nurse present during shifts with house supervisor coverage
• OR orientation provided during the first week of onboarding, with 12 hours of general orientation
• Scrubs provided on site
• First-time travelers may be considered
• Candidates should reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be considered for this position's pay structure
• Local candidates may be accepted depending on facility-specific rate policies
• Returning candidates who worked directly for an affiliated facility within the past year are not eligible for consideration
