American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an RN for a 12-bed Progressive Care Unit in Smyrna, TN. The role requires post-cath care experience and NIH Stroke Certification, with night shifts and a 4:1 patient ratio.

You must hold an active TN or Compact RN license, current BLS/ACLS/NIH Stroke Certification, and have at least 1 year in PCU. TR band management and post-cath care are essential. Travel housing and licensure support provided.

• Experience with post-cath care including TR band management required
• Advanced skills needed in pulmonary treatments and medication titration
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months

Responsibilities

• 12-bed Progressive Care Unit with a 4:1 patient ratio
• Trauma III designated facility
• 1 tech available for the unit
• Uses GE monitors, Nova glucometers, and Pyxis medication dispensing system
• Documents in Meditech
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Required to work every other weekend
• Floating required in rotation with full-time staff and other travelers
• Provide post-cath care including TR band management for PCU patients
• Perform advanced pulmonary treatments and medication titration as needed
• Complete patient experience requirements including AIDET, communication board documentation, and medication teaching
• Charcoal gray scrubs required as part of the dress code
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility, as local candidates will not be considered
• Strong teamwork, problem-solving skills, and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role
