Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an RN for a Progressive Care Unit position requiring telemetry experience and NIH Stroke Certification on a 12-hour night shift schedule in Keene, NH.

The unit runs with a 36-hour workweek, patient ratios of 4:1 or 5:1 depending on acuity, and requires active NH or Compact RN licensure, BLS, and NIH Stroke Certification prior to consideration. Housing allowance and travel reimbursements are offered.

Qualifications

• Telemetry nursing experience required.

• BLS certification required.
• Active RN license (NH or Compact) with proof of state residency required.

Responsibilities

• Mixed-acuity, 39-bed unit specializing in medical, surgical, and stepdown care.
• Patient population primarily elderly, with some patients as young as 18.
• RN patient ratios of 4:1 or 5:1 depending on acuity.
• 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week.
• Every other weekend required.
• Rotating holiday coverage required.
• Must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for consideration.

• Cardizem and Amiodarone drip experience required
• Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience within the last 2 years required
