American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an RN for a Behavioral Health night shift in Lawton, OK. Active OK or compact RN license and 2 years of adult behavioral health experience are required.

BLS, NIHSS, and ACLS certifications must be current. The role involves working 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with every-other-weekend scheduling and DHS fingerprinting during hiring. Must complete DHS fingerprinting as part of the hiring process.

Responsibilities

Work in the SW Adult Psych unit of a behavioral health hospital setting.
Provides care to adult patients with mental health conditions.
Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Required to work every other weekend.
On-call duties may arise but are not regularly scheduled.
Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and administer medications.
Provide therapeutic communication and crisis intervention for patients with mental health conditions.
Monitor patient well-being and maintain accurate clinical records.
Educate patients and families on treatment and recovery.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to maintain a safe, supportive environment.
Candidates within 50 miles of the facility may be considered at a reduced travel rate.
Former direct employees of the facility must wait 6 months before returning through an agency.
No more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) during the assignment.
