American Traveler is seeking a Psychiatric Registered Nurse for a night shift on an acute inpatient behavioral health unit. The role involves treating all ages and supporting care across inpatient and residential levels.

Requirements include MO or Compact RN license and at least 1 year of recent behavioral health experience. Local candidates within 30 miles receive local rates; travel rates apply for others.

• Minimum 1 year of recent Behavioral Health/Psych experience within the last year.

Responsibilities

• Acute inpatient behavioral health hospital setting treating all ages, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors
• Unit is reopening and treats behavioral disorders, memory disorders, mental health disorders, and mood disorders
• Levels of care include detoxification, inpatient, and residential
• Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts from 7p-7a
• Required to work every other weekend
• Paper charting used on the unit
• Provide age-appropriate psychiatric care including stabilization and personalized treatment planning
• Support patients across inpatient and residential levels of care
• First-time travelers may be considered
• Local candidates accepted within a 30-mile radius for local rates; candidates outside this radius are eligible for travel rates
