Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Behavioral Health RN for a night-shift Psychiatric unit position. Active NC or compact RN license and psych experience are required.

This 13-week travel assignment runs night shifts (6:45 PM–7:15 AM) with housing allowance, travel reimbursements, and day-one benefits. Applicants must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility.

Qualifications

• RN license valid in NC or compact state.
• BLS certification required.
• CPI certification required for Behavioral Health units (SAMA, MAB, or ACPMA may be accepted).
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
• 1 year of Behavioral Health/Psych experience required.
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past year.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients on an inpatient psychiatric unit.
• Work on a 13-week travel assignment.
• Night shift from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM.
• Care for patients in Behavioral Health/Psych unit.
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted.
