American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Behavioral Health RN for an acute stabilization psychiatric hospital on the night shift in Colorado.

You must hold a CO or compact RN license, maintain BLS and HWC certifications, and demonstrate strong deescalation skills; one year of RN experience is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct nursing care within an acute behavioral health stabilization setting.
• Care across four units in a 96-bed behavioral health hospital.
• Night shift 7:00 PM–7:30 AM with every other weekend.
• Floating to all units as needed and on-call text/call system in use.
• Maintain Navy scrubs; casual wear not permitted.

American Traveler is hiring a Behavioral Health RN for an acute stabilization psychiatric hospital on night shift, requiring a CO or compact RN license and deescalation skills.

Requirements

• Behavioral health, medical, or dual diagnosis experience preferred
• Experience with CIWA and COWS protocols preferred
• Must complete a Colorado Adult Protective Services (CAPS) check
• Must complete CBI fingerprinting prior to start

Responsibilities

• Behavioral health hospital with 4 units and 96 total beds
• Units include Adolescent (13-17), Adult Mental Wellness, Adult Acute, and Adult Dual Diagnosis/SUD
• Patient ratios approximately 1:12 on Adolescent, Adult Mental Wellness, and Adult Acute units, and 1:10 on Adult Dual Diagnosis/SUD
• Uses HCS EHR system
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Floating to all units required as needed
• On-call text/call system used for shift openings or call-offs
• Average patient length of stay is 7-10 days in an acute stabilization setting
• Provide direct nursing care within an acute behavioral health stabilization setting
• Navy scrubs required; casual wear not permitted
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for travel rate
• Local rate available for candidates within 60 miles
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis
• Professional personality fit expected
