Qualifications

• MA RN license current and active.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications current.
• Minimum 2 years of PACU experience.
• Strong PACU phase 1 recovery experience with large, complex surgical cases.
• Must read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips and identify heart blocks.
• Telemetry test on Day 1 with 85%+.
• ICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• PACU care for complex surgical cases across neuro, thoracic, vascular, and ortho spine.
• Cover case types including trauma, pediatrics, ortho, and general surgery.
• Maintain average case volume 18–30 patients.
• Work 12-hour Day/Evening shifts (Days 0600-1830, Evenings 0730-2000).
• May rotate between day and evening shifts up to 50%.
• May float to inpatient PACU.
• Operate 0600-2000, Monday–Friday.
• Provide phase 1 recovery care for complex surgical patients across multiple specialties.
• Must reside within 50 miles radius of facility.
• Local candidates accepted.
