Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PACU assignment in Massachusetts. Ambulatory PACU care supports a 440-bed hospital with a daily caseload of about 35 patients.

Position features 10-hour evening shifts (3:00 PM–1:30 AM), 40 hours weekly, and a focus on perianesthesia care. Requires MA RN license, 3–4 years PACU experience, EPIC EMR, and BLS. Travel-friendly terms apply.

Responsibilities

• Ambulatory PACU unit within a 440-bed hospital setting
• Peri-anesthesia care for ambulatory surgical and procedural cases
• Manage 25 beds with an average daily caseload of 35 patients
• Work 10-hour evening shifts from 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM (40 hours/week)
• No floating or charge responsibilities; no on-call requirements
• Provide perianesthesia nursing care for ambulatory patients
• Interact with students and new hires in a supportive team environment
• COVID booster and flu vaccines required (medical exemptions allowed)
• Candidates outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted

• Prior travel experience not required

Responsibilities

• Ambulatory PACU unit within a 440-bed hospital setting
• Peri-anesthesia specialty supporting ambulatory surgical and procedural cases
• 25 total beds with an average daily caseload of 35 patients
• 10-hour evening shifts, 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM, 40 hours per week
• No floating or charge responsibilities required
• No on-call requirements
• Provide perianesthesia nursing care for ambulatory surgical and procedural patients
• Frequent interaction with students and new hires, requiring a supportive team approach
• Must complete required COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine, with medical exemptions allowed
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility and local candidates are not accepted
• Previous BILH employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6-month break before returning
• RTO requests must be submitted at time of application, as later requests will not be approved
