Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU role at a Level 3 trauma teaching hospital. The position requires 2+ years in PACU, active WA or compact RN license, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications.

The role features a four 10-hour days schedule (Mon-Thu) with weekend call as needed and benefits including 401(k) and insurance options. Travel rate applies to residents living 60 miles or more away andLifePoint restrictions may apply.

Qualifications

• Active WA or compact RN license required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of PACU experience required.
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Work in the PACU unit of a Level 3 trauma teaching hospital's Surgical Services department
• 6-bed unit with mostly 1:1 patient ratios
• Patient population is mostly adults with occasional pediatric patients
• Uses Space Labs monitors and Paragon EHR
• Schedule consists of four 10-hour day shifts per week, Monday through Thursday
• Weekend hours only required with call
• Call requirements include 4 call shifts per month with one weekend of call
• No floating required
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
