American Traveler is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for an Operating Room position in Illinois. The role requires an active IL RN license, BLS certification, and at least 2 years of OR experience. EPIC EMR experience is required, and scrubbing is not necessary for this RN role.

Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, with some later shifts every 6 weeks, and weekly on-call duties with a short response window. Housing and travel reimbursements may be provided.

Aufgaben

• Acute care setting in a Surgical Services unit with 5 operating suites and 2 procedure rooms.
• Performs 20-30 cases per day across general surgery, ortho, gyne, podiatry, endoscopy, and ophthalmology.
• Monday-Friday day shift schedule (6:45am-3:15pm) with 1-2 later shifts (9am-5:30pm) per 6-week schedule.
• Uses EPIC EMR system.
• Call required once per week on weeknights (3:15pm-6:45am) and one weekend every 5-6 weeks (Sat 7am-Mon 7am).
• Call response time is 30 minutes.
• OR techs are present to support staffing.
• No floating requirements.
• Self-scheduling is allowed.
