Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for an Operating Room assignment in Milwaukee, WI. The role requires at least 2 years of OR experience and prior travel nursing, with preference for robotic surgery and scrub nurse background.

You will provide direct surgical care in the OR, work rotating 4x10-hour shifts (08:30–19:00), with call duties and potential local float within 40 miles. Requires active WI license, BLS, EPIC EMR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active WI or compact RN license required.
• BLS certification (AHA) required.
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience required.
• Prior travel nursing experience required.
• Robotic surgery experience preferred.
• Scrub nurse experience preferred.
• EPIC EMR experience preferred.
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct surgical nursing care within the Operating Room.
• Rotate 4x10-hour shifts (08:30–19:00), flexible based on OR volumes.
• Call requirements based on department needs, rotating weekdays and weekends.
• May float onsite within skill set or to facilities within 40 miles, though rarely needed.
• Contract lengths of 13-26 weeks accepted.

• May be required to float onsite within skill set or to facilities within 40 miles, though rarely needed
• Contract lengths of 13-26 weeks accepted
• Provide direct surgical nursing care within the Operating Room
• Radius rule applies; local candidates accepted at a reduced rate
• Candidates must have a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• COVID vaccination not required
