American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Level IV NICU RN for a weekend-focused day shift contract in Atlanta, GA. The role requires at least 2 years of NICU experience, Epic EMR proficiency, and GA/compact RN license in hand.

The position offers neonatal and pediatric care, ventilator management, and potential travel nursing experience. Weekend coverage, holiday shifts, and a nicotine-free campus are expected; RTO is limited.

Qualificações

• Active GA or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration.
• Minimum 2 years of recent NICU experience.
• Level IV NICU experience required.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Recent travel nursing experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• PALS certification (AHA only) required.
• NRP certification preferred.
• BSN preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Level IV Neonatal ICU (NICU) setting within a pediatric hospital.
• Day shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00 AM-7:00 PM).
• Weekend-only schedule requiring every Saturday and Sunday plus one additional weekday shift.
• Cares for neonatal and pediatric patients, including respiratory and tracheostomy care.
• Performs ventilator management (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP).
• Uses Epic EMR system.
• Floating required to other departments within the facility and to a sister NICU, as well as to campuses within a 12-mile radius.
• Holiday coverage required.
• Provides specialized neonatal intensive care including respiratory support and tracheostomy management.
• Must pass a medication competency test, with a second attempt allowed if the first is failed.
• Facility is a nicotine-free campus and cotinine/nicotine testing for all candidates.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply if their resume reflects the required skill set.
• Minimal to no requested time off (RTO) accommodated during the assignment.
• Trauma Level I hospital experience preferred.
